I am a UX designer based in the Los Angeles area with a background in graphic design. I love to create thoughtful experiences that are built for everyone to use and enjoy. All in all, I believe that, as a designer, I have a mission to genuinely care for the people I design for.

Growing up, whenever someone asked me what my dream was, I would always say, “I want to be creative”.  I was constantly immersed in creative activities - drawing, painting, designing, and daydreaming about what I could create next. While in the midst of all that, technology started to become a big part of my life as well, and my interest in the constantly evolving digital world continued to grow.

Previously, I worked as a production assistant at a fast-paced agency and I currently work as a graphic designer for Penske Media Corporation creating and designing magazine layouts. My experiences in these roles have sharpened my skills in digital design, working in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment, empathizing with people, doing research and analysis, identifying goals and needs, and efficiently finding solutions to a broad variety of problems and user pain points.

How did I get into UX? 

Something that I truly enjoyed throughout all the different experiences I’ve had are the meaningful interactions with the people that I’ve had the pleasure of working with. I also really just started to miss working in a more imaginative field and using my creative skills. As a consequence of my realization, I chose to pursue this new path into UX Design where I could utilize both of my passions in a new purposeful way. I want to explore design through the emotional, functional, and aesthetic spectrums and have the opportunity to make a positive impact on people’s lives.

Other things I enjoy…

Cars🏎️. I am always looking at new cars, new features, and new concepts. I love to draw them in my free time and if I had the money, I am sure I’d love to be driving these expensive exotic sports cars. Detailing or cleaning dirty cars is always a therapeutic activity that I love doing.

Basketball 🏀. What I would consider my first love. Playing basketball is my safe place. The place where I can feel free and feel like I can express who I am through my game. LA Laker fan for life. Kobe fan for life.

Photography 📸. there is something about seeing a moment and capturing it for a lifetime. Being able to look back on the photos I take and reminisce. Also being able to collect and tell a story using all the photographs.

Hiking/Fishing 🎣. I love being outside and around nature. Seeing the birds flying, water flowing down rivers, and the trees rustling when the wind blows. (Not to mention the lack of cell service, which gives me a good break from life sometimes)
